I feel like I say this a lot, but this week is crazy busy! I went to Weekend One of Coachella, then celebrated Easter with my family, now I’m off to St. Lucia and still deciding to head back for the second weekend of Coachella! What a whirlwind. Before I hop on a plane for my quick trip to St. Lucia, I wanted to give you a recap on Coachella Weekend One:
On our way there, since everyone was headed to Coachella from LA (there’s really only one way to get there), the traffic was insane. We were stuck for four hours on the freeway, but the drive is so beautiful so that kept me going. We stopped at the Cabazon Outlets for a break from the drive and then we arrived. I stayed at the Foray house which was a huge, 15 bedroom mansion with a really big pool. Brittany and Xenia also stayed there, so it was fun to see them quite a bit throughout my stay :)
The next day got my hair and makeup done with L’oreal – I always love getting my hair and makeup done, and I really liked how my curls turned out. I spent the morning lounging in my Tommy Hilfiger swimsuit by the pool and then changed into my festival outfit for the rest of the day’s events! They had these colorful pastel sculptures set up for Coachella which really set the mood well for a weekend-long party. I was also really in love with my new Balenciaga boots from that day. I’ve wanted them for like 4 years – since I started blogging – and I like the new dark blue and black combo they came out with this season. I’m planning to wear them with some cute dresses all summer long.
On Day two, I wore this white dress that was perfect for the desert. It had a super pretty, low back and was nice and breezy in the heat. I also loved these earrings from All Things Mochi. They have so much cute embroidered pieces and have become a new favorite brand.
Then to the festival the rest of the day, I wore a skirt and top combo from Love Shack Fancy. I really liked the crochet lace detail in the skirt that made it feel boho and casual. I saw so many shows on Day 2, but my favorite for sure was Bon Iver. They’ve been a favorite artist of mine for the last 3 years. Their music is so relaxing and peaceful and beautiful. Anytime I’m having trouble falling asleep, I listen to them.
On Day Three I wore a Roxy playsuit – I think playsuits/rompers are so, so comfortable and I wish I could wear them all the time. I put my hair in a braid crown, decked out with Kendra Scott Jewelry and I wore stud stickers under my eye from Body Bauble. The stickers were a big thing this year everywhere around the festival, so they would be a good place to check out if you’re going to the festival next weekend.
