I can’t believe summer is already on it’s way! I’m always looking for healthy ways to get that summer glow, and still protect my skin. Even though I lovveeee sitting out and soaking up the sun, keeping my skin protected is definitely more important to me. I love that the at home tans and spray tans are becoming much better quality than in the past and there’re actually some great options out there! I usually use Vita Liberata for my tan… I got a spray tan with Vita Liberata about a year ago for the first time, and loved how the products are organic and they give a really natural glow.

I went to an event with them a couple of weeks ago (free spray tans ftwww), and we got to also try out their new Invisi Mousse….which you guessed it…is invisible! I wasn’t sure how I would feel about the invisible feature at first, but I had no problem applying it really evenly, and it’s cool because it only activates color when it touches your skin so it won’t get all over your towels, etc.

Here are 3 steps for an at home tan using the Vita Liberata Invisi Mousse:

get your glow on

Step 1:

Start with clean, exfoliated skin!

Step 2:

Apply 2-3 pumps all over the tanning mitt, and apply alllll over in big circular motions. Avoid nails and knuckles! You can stretch out your hands like a claw to get in between your fingers so there aren’t any lines.

Step 3:

Use a wet cloth to wipe off any excess tan around your elbow, knuckles and nails.

Then hang out and go about your day! The tan takes about 5 hours to set in, and even the next day I found my tan really set in fully. It’s also kinda fun to wait and see it develop :) Hopefully this helps you guys out for a head start on your summer glow!
