5 Ways To Make Your Bed Into Instagram Goals

I love my bed soooo much (must be on my mind since I haven’t been in it for a week and a half, because, Paris) and lately I’ve seen the cutest little bed set ups on Instagram! My place in Weho is currently going through a total renovation, so I’ve been scouring Pinterest and Instagram for exactly what type of bed situation I want and I’ve been seeing so much cute inspiration. The hotel I’m staying at here in Paris is getting me all inspired too. Everything is so cute!! For those of you who would like to make your bed into Instagram Goals too, I thought I’d share some ideas I found while browsing this week. Most of them don’t even require some big makeover — you can set up your bed into a perfect photo op with just a few little tricks. Here are five ways to make your bed into Instagram goals:

I just can’t help but love the look of pretty lights, especially for setting the mood in the evening before falling asleep. I recently did a photo shoot where I put some cute lights on my wall as a prop, and I didn’t even want to take them down because I loved them too much! You can string big bulbed lights all across your ceiling, or go a more simple route and weave them around your headboard. Even just one strand will add so much <3 Urban Outfitters has super cute ones here.

I also feel like anything cozy = dreamy, and you really only need two things to get the ultimate cozy bed: An oversized cable knit blanket (fun diy chunky blanket idea here!) and pillows pillows pillows! Pick a color scheme and just get lots of fluffy and soft blankets and accent pillows to throw on your bed. Serena & Lily has a beeauuuutiful one here, but if that’s out of your budget there are a ton of options on Etsy!

Wall art is another quick way to add so much character to your bedroom. Getting a few simple prints from Etsy, maps with cute frames or even a diy collage of printed out photos that inspire you can be just enough of a pop. I love finding French quotes and minimal designs… I actually really want to do something like this in my new office space but I’m trying to decide what to do! Any ideas?

The other thing I’ve seen a lot in the most Instagrammable bedrooms is just super clean, minimal looks. I love the look of a bright white comforter, some simple greenery and some basic, modern furniture.  I also love the look of hanging plants!

My final and favorite trick I’m loving for the ultimate Instagrammable bedroom is props. Adding props is a win win, because it means an excuse for breakfast in bed! I love the look of a stack of pancakes, some fashion magazines, a pretty platter of fruit and flowers and always always a mug of coffee (lol… it’s a true necessity).
