Adventures in Tulum

I had the most amazing trip in Tulum this week! It was full of adventure, incredible food, and gorgeous views. We stayed at the Papaya Playa Project, which is sooo cute and along the beach but also in the jungle. The casita we stayed in was amazeeee, and had a rooftop space and a pool. The style fit in so well with Tulum’s culture, with clay interior walls and rustic design.

One of the best dinners of the trip was at Citano, where we had shrimp tacos, chorizo lettuce wraps, grilled avocados, and margaritas (so yummy)! We definitely centered most of our days around the food ;)

The city of Tulum used to be a Mayan city, so there are incredible ruins that me and Peter went to check out. It started pouring rain when we got there and we were so soaked (lol), but it actually turned out to be a lot of fun. We’re all about the adventure! We also went to the Gran Cenote in the rain, but the water was so blue and gorgeous to swim in :)

This trip was an early birthday celebration to relax and revive before turing 32 (omg!), and was such an amazing getaway and one of my favorite trips :) We can’t wait to go back!
