The best sort of trend is when you can take items already in your wardrobe and put them together! I’m loving the new "shirt under dress” style that’s going on, since you can use your favorite shirt or dress in a whole new way. This style takes the 90s trend and turns it chic! Since statement sleeves are one of my favorite things, I love adding them under a simple dress, like this one! It’s a fancy take on the white tee shirt with black overalls! What’s great about a shirt under a dress, is that you can make your outfit casual by adding a simple tee shirt under a fancy dress. You can even wear the same dress all and swap out a tee shirt for some statement sleeves for a night look. There is endless mix and matching possibilities with this trend!

I love the pop of red of this cute little retro gas station with my black and white outfit. This spot is at the Farmers Market, which is such a fun place to shop and eat in LA.  Even though I have been in LA for almost 8 years, I still love going to The Grove and Farmers Market, even though it can be a little touristy.
