I’ve been working on decorating my place over the past couple of weeks. One project that I am excited to share with you guys is a fun collage inspo wall I did above my desk. I wanted to share with you guys because not only is it super cute, but it can be done very affordably and quickly!
You can see my shopping list of supplies below and many of the items you may already have in your home! I picked up a few more recent magazines that I could rip out and cut out pictures that inspired me. I had look at Pinterest for inspiration on my collage wall and decided that I wanted to use black tape to pin my photos to the wall. I felt that black and white photos would compliment the tape best, so I went online for photos and made sure that they were high resolution images and got them printed out at Walgreens. I recommend getting varying sizes-wallet, 4 x 6, 5 x 7, and 8 x 10. Depending on the size of the wall you may even want to go bigger, but for my space, 8 x 10 was the largest I had room for.
I went to Home Depot to the paint section, and found some colors that I am inspired by for 2019 that I wanted to disperse throughout the photos. I also added a calendar that I could swap out- found this super cute calendar and made sure I use the gold clip to hang it up that way I could swap it out monthly. I also had some notecards and pictures around my house that were perfect to add as well.
When putting up the collage wall, make sure you don’t overthink it. Grab a friend, turn up some music and have fun with it!
Since it’s just being held up by tape you can easily put photos up and take them down and move them around. I grouped my photos so that some would overlap, but if you want a even more simple look you can make it so that they do not touch each other.
If you guys make your own collage board, make sure to tag me! I would love to see your inspo for 2019!
