Michelle Madsen style blog TAKE AIM, wearing True Religion Jeans, Lou & Grey sweater

Hello from San Francisco! I’m working on a very exciting project today with an amazing brand for their holiday campaign – can’t wait to share soon! One of the most exciting parts is that I’ll be doing some modeling and photos side by side with my husband, Tyler.

I took these outfit photos a couple of weeks ago when I spent the day running errands and visiting with my nephews. I’ve been traveling so much lately that those special moments are few and far between. Of course I wore sandals to play with the boys (ages 3 and 4), and swapped over to some heels for a date with Tyler that evening. I love when sweaters and nice jeans can transition from day to night so easily with a quick change of shoes.

Speaking of nice jeans… I recently got this new pair from True Religion and I’m super impressed! The most important thing about a great pair of jeans is the way they fit.  You should feel comfortable and confident in something worn as often as a pair of jeans. I don’t usually wear lighter washes of denim because they tend to be less flattering but the stitching and the fade of the wash on this pair makes them look great. Since I discovered designer jeans in high school, I’ve have high standards! Why settle for a mediocre pair when there’s great options out there?!
