I loving finding good products that don’t break my bank (a tricky combo to find sometimes), so I’ve been looking forward to using Soap & Glory’s beauty products. They have it all — from primers and face products to the final makeup details, so I realized I can do an entire everyday look using only their line. Amaze. And… they actually sell at Walgreens which is v convenient.
I tested out their line today and I’m loving it, so I thought I’d give you a quick run down of my daily beauty routine, what I used and some of my tips:
Step one: Prep
I always start by prepping my skin with a moisturizer and primer. Soap & Glory has awesome options for these. I used Speed Plump, Fab Pore, and One Heck Of A Blot Primer (haha, I love the names!) I feel like this tends to be a step people skip over, but I consider it one of the most important parts of the process because it sets everything up to look good when you apply.
It took me a while to get into contouring until I learned how to do it right. Now a little bit of bronzer and some shaping to my face is pretty much an essential — I like how it makes everything pop. Soap & Glory has three different shimmer bricks that really add a beautiful color to your complexion and I like to use them for a really natural contour. I love the matte, easy on, easy off feel of a powder for an every day look. I really like the bronzer of this set especially!
Step three: Eyes
For eyes, I like that they have a full palette that comes as one set. I usually use a few different colors on my eyes, and it’s nice when they’re meant to go together and blend really well. From this palette, I loved “Toasty” and “Nudecomer” — perfect for that rose gold shadow trend right now! I’m obsessed with rose gold on eyes… so pretty, and this palette actually has 5 different shades of pink. You could even try using one as a blush maybe? I also usually add some subtle eyeliner and mascara to give my eyes an extra pop.
Step four: Brows
I loveeee doing my brows to be fuller and to get that perfect shape, so I pretty much never go a day without touching them up. I use Archery 2-in-1 Sculpt & Set to get that natural, full brow look. It’s always good to start on the ends nearest your cheekbones and work your way gradually toward the middle so it doesn’t go on too heavy at the middle ends. I’m all about the big brows but I still usually like them to look pretty natural!
Step five: Lips
Last but not least, I love finishing off with a pop of color on my lips. Soap & Glory has soooo many great lip options. My favorites right now are the matte colors, and I always go for a pink or red color. For this look I used Sexy Mother Pucker Lipstick in 5th Avenude.
Thanks to Soap & Glory for partnering with me on this post. xx
