Here’s a little photo diary of my amazing day at Spoke and Weal yesterday. I am so grateful for the opportunity to share my experience of this cool, new salon!
I loved the vibes of the bulbs around the mirrors and the industrial metal and open ceilings.
I LOVED all the light fixtures and beautiful photos on each wall. The salon is known for their work at Fashion Week, doing hair and makeup for up to 30 different runway shows and presentations. I was so excited to hear that they do Nicholas K, which was one of my favorite shows at Fashion Week last fall.
If only I could have one bottle of each… ; )
I scheduled my appointment with the sweetest Liz. Everyone was so friendly and she brought me an iced coffee from next door.
The whole shop was full of succulents which seemed so appropriate given that Aveada is a natural line. Plus succulents are hip and we’re in the hippest part of town : )
Here’s the after picture! I love the progressive color Dell did on my hair. My previous ombre was very grown out and getting dull – Dell blended the colors so it looks natural (a must!) and brought some extra light colors around my face. Lindsay gave me a nice trim with a blunt cut and thinned out my hair so it doesn’t lay so heavy. It looks SO much healthier.
I’m so grateful to have had such talented people work on my hair : ) Both are Masters at Aveda and spend their weekends training other stylists/colorists their techniques (hard workers!)
I went home and took a couple more pictures in natural light so you can see what a good job they did and what I wore to the salon : )
I kind of feel like I have something close to the coveted Jennifer Aniston hair… maybe??
I’m obsessed with my new watch from Caravelle. Great quality, great design and a very good price : )
Here’s a little teaser of a couple of my new necklaces! Stay tuned because they’ll all be available online soon!
