How To Make An Oversized Dress Look Feminine

Sometime in the last few years, oversized everything suddenly filled my entire closet. I’m a huge (no pun intended) fan of oversized looks, but a lot of times it can be hard to find the right way to wear oversized items without feeling bulky and awkward. Lucky for you, I have found the answer to how to make an oversized dress look feminine: It’s all in the heels.

If you want to pull off an oversized dress well, most likely being a few inches wouldn’t hurt!  Heels add the height that you probably need, and give you the perfect opportunity to show off some cute shoes and a little ankle. Depending on the dress, it can be fun to put on some more feminine colors, like a light blush or even a simple white. Personally, I also prefer a chunky heel that’s easy to walk in and it keeps things from getting too girly for me (stilettos are few and far between in my closet…)

This dress was even easier to keep looking feminine because of the ruffled, off the shoulders top. I’ve been wearing bardot tops all the time lately and it’s pretty much a guaranteed feminine feel.  A great place to start if you’re iffy about oversized looks!
