Messy Low Bun Tutorial

I got a lot of requests from you guys last week to show you how I style my hair in a low messy bun. I had an event that evening that I was getting ready for. It is a pretty simple look, you just need to focus on getting that texture, volume and messy curls. I used the photo I found on Pinterest for inspiration for a low messy bun look.

Since getting my hair cut, its a little short to do a bun, but I was able to still achieve the look with a low messy ponytail. I did this look on day two hair, so it already had some texture in my hair. I added the Amika volumizing powder and used a back comb to add volume. Then added Ouai texture spray to add more volume all around the crown of my head. Then with a hair tie put your hair up loosely in a low pony tail and tug at the roots to get a messy look. The key here is to leave loose pieces on the front of you head out so that you can pull them individually back with bobby pins. To get the messy look you will want to take small pieces and pin them toward the back. Leave few pieces in the front and voila you are done!

Let me know what you guys think about this look!
