The first official day of NYFW was busy and filled with amazing shows and events. I was able to attend BCBG, Mathieu Mirano, Honor and Big Parks shows and presentations. Also, I went a couple rooftop parties and lounges so it was a fun(exhausting) day.
Here are some of my highlights from the shows:
I absolutely love the feminine color palette and delicate fabrics used in the BCBG collection. Each piece seemed float on the float on the girls’ bodies as the glided along the stage. BCBG is a favorite show to start off fashion week. Here are some of my favorites:
Honor was a fun show with baby-doll type fits and vibes from the 70’s. The music and the blue eyeshadow added to the experience. With Mad Men as one of my favorite shows right now, I was all about it. I am inspired to dress a bit more elegantly.
I wore this adorable matching set by Linie NYC. It has the texture of felt – something I see trending for fall. The Dolce Vita loafers were an instant love at first sight… as most things leopard are. I love the chunky heel.
