I am so grateful for  the days when I can look around and appreciate everything life has to offer.  Sometimes I get so caught up in the busyness of each day that I tend to only take notice to the things that aren’t perfect in my life.  It’s times like those that I know I need to get out of my bubble and look around me.  It helps living in such an area of poverty (skid row) that I don’t have to look very far to see how good I have it.  I woke up at 6am this morning and had plenty of time to think about my life and areas that I want to shift a little bit.  To me, this is what TAKE AIM means – sometimes it’s pursuing that thing that you want to do or create, or sometimes it’s just chasing after the person you want to be.

For this look I wanted to wear something OVERly baggy with a skater skirt.  I’ve seen a couple other trendsetters wear this combo and I love how it downplays such a girly piece as the skater skirt.

The snakeskin clutch is still my favorite pattern addition for my daily outfits.

Two different blues isn’t my typical choice, but I intentionally bought the skirt and flats at the same time to wear them together.  I really like the subtle difference.
