I recently got to participate in a really cool project with Madison LA. For the last few months, Madison LA has been hosting a Blogger Pop Up Shop Series. Each month, a different blogger gets to collaborate on a pop up shop inside their store and come up with a concept for their window design to promote the theme of the pop up shop. For the month of September, I have the honor of being the featured blogger!
A lot of the pieces I chose for the pop up shop are new items that are just in for fall. Madison LA has so many incredibly cute and quality brands… I feel like I could have walked out with the entire store. Among the items I pulled are a lot of great textures and minimal everyday wear. My absolute favorites were the Citizens of Humanity jeans because of the perfect cut-out detail at the ankles.
It’s been a really fun and refreshingly creative experience, since designing window displays and selecting store pieces are a little out of my norm! I got to go to the store in West Hollywood and pick out some of my favorite pieces to style my section, and then we worked with an artist on their team to come up with a concept for the window.
Since it’s fashion month, I decided to combine my favorite color palettes and geometric design with a runway theme. It was really fun putting together a mood board, and hearing from their expert mannequin collector and artist.
The Take Aim month is just getting started, so there’s lots of time to shop my selects, and you can do it in the store or online. Happy Fashion Month!
