Pulling Off Pink

I’m rarely the first to pull a pink look off the rack, because pink can make me think of overdone frills and girly girl dresses (cute, but not me.) But lately, a few pink pieces have been catching my eye, and I’m finding ways to fit them into my more minimal, city style.

The lighter pinks and nudes are really in right now (Even Pantone named Rose Quartz color of the year!), so for me, pulling off pink is about treating it like a neutral.

It’s so easy to add a simple pink accessory or to layer it with other neutrals to keep the minimal look while adding in a touch of girliness. I loved how this pink paired with the creams and blacks to make my outfit perfect for spring vibes. The funny thing about LA is that I’ll start with this outfit in the morning (June Gloom!) and slowly peel off the layers as the sun comes out!
