I’ve always been one to really appreciate quality in everything I use, from clothes to kitchen utensils. But money doesn’t grow on trees (if you know of a money tree around here, please let me know), so the best combination is finding quality brands that you can actually afford.
I put together a casual outfit made up of brands that are making really high quality products, but pride themselves on ethical practices and honest prices. I’m wearing Everlane, the White Label, Vrai & Oro and Beckett Simonon. Their prices are half of the prices of a lot of other brands of their quality, and I love that I can trust that their employees are treated and paid well.
Everlane even has a section on their website where you can read about the factory where your product was produced, how much it cost them to make, and where exactly your money is going when you buy it. Such cool transparency in the otherwise mysterious and competitive fashion industry!
Plus, almost everything they make fits seamlessly into my minimal style. Wins all around!
