Spring Refresh

Johnston & Murphy spring women's collection

With spring in full-swing, I officially decided to clean out my closet. I’m not one to collect things, rather, I feel a huge relief when my life and home is organized and purged of all unnecessary things.  I think I may have picked this up from my mom because she is known in our family for tossing something perfectly useful in the trash just to de-clutter her cabinets. (Sorry mom, it’s true!) As I’ve gotten older and have my own home now, I’ve realized I’m picking up on my same desires to keep my day to day life fresh and new – it’s good for inspiration and creativity.

After selling some major goods to Crossroads, I found some space for a few spring basics from the new Johnston & Murphy spring collection. Pajama vibes are “in” this season and I used a white blazer to compliment the look (and to squash anyone’s possible wonderings if I meant to get dressed before I left the house!) White blazers are awesome for spring – so versatile and classic.

These black slip-ons accomplish a sporty, unisex, casual vibe that I appreciate in any shoe. I love the overall look of this outfit. I also included a couple pictures of Johnston & Murphy’s camel ballet flats because they’re so comfortable and a really great color for matching spring outfits.

Clean out those closets and ditch the stuff that’s not you anymore… make room for some new spring pieces that you feel great about!
