After Coachella, I spent a quick Easter with my family and then hopped on a plane to the gorrrrgeous island of St. Lucia. The place we stayed was a total dream and I already miss it! It was the over the water bungalows at the Sandals St Lucia Grand Hotel (heart eyes). So dreamy, right???

Sandals St Lucia Grand Hotel is opening up its bungalows to the public on May 15th (soon!) so I was there to check out the property and share about it all before they officially launch in May. The bungalow was so beautiful – it’s all wood with minimal design, amazing bathrooms, and a super comfortable bed. There’s a glass/window section in the floor so you can literally see the ocean right below your feet, and then the best part is the patio. The patio has an outdoor tub, a hammock over the water, lounge chairs, and an amazing view of the ocean right in front of you. They also have these elite butlers that were constantly available to make sure we had everything we need.

The entire place is all-inclusive, so there was a full bar, espresso machine (important) and 12 restaurants that we had free access to throughout our stay. We had breakfast right on our own patio most days, but for dinner, two of the restaurants we tried were a jerk place with chicken jerk, fish jerk, etc. and an all-you-can-eat sushi place. We also worked out at the gym and got amazinggg spa treatments, including a candlelit massage in the beautiful outdoor garden.

The property was so peaceful and beautiful as well – It wasn’t overly busy, so I really felt like I could relax. The water was that gorgeous turquoise color, and there were so many Instagrammable spots, like a swing over the water, hammocks, and statement chairs on the beach. And the weather was perfect. I could have stayed for at least another week.

One night we actually went to a block party in the area, which was a really fun experience. It was a mix of locals and visitors, dancing and eating and having a great time. The trip was such a good mix of new things like that and time spent just lounging and taking a break from the world.
