Easter weekend I headed to Florida to watch the Miami Open with Lacoste. It was yet another fun-filled weekend of amazing food, company, and tennis. We kicked off the weekend getting settled into The Gale hotel and going out to dinner in the Miami heat. I often forget that the weather isn’t perfect everywhere (teasing… but seriously, sorry to all you non-californians!) It was actually pretty nice walking around in a tank top at night and enjoying the warmth.
On Saturday morning we went to our tennis clinic, as we do for every Lacoste trip. I actually felt like I made some progress this time and realized what an appealing sport it can be when you learn how to swing properly. From there we spent some time on the beach and then headed to a fancy dinner on a rooftop. The view was breathtaking (which might sound cheesy, but I really was oohing and ahhing) and was especially great with some yummy cocktails in hand. We finished the night at the Lacoste party, which was a pretty cool way to celebrate the involvement they have with the Miami Open.
On Sunday we headed to the Miami Open tennis match and got to visit the Moët Chandon booth and try their new champagne that’s actually made to be served on ice. Pretty cool idea if you’ve forgotten to chill your champagne ahead of time (usually at room temp champagne is pretty worthless). We found our box seats and watched the intensity on the court as we nibbled on h’orderves and sipped on rosé. The whole experience was such a struggle! (teasing again, haha). No, it was really special and I’m so grateful to Lacoste for inviting me to share the experience. You can see some of the highlights in my photos below.
