Tips On How To Transition Your Wardrobe Into Fall

Hey  guys! Fall is here and I have been changing over my wardrobe to add more pieces for the new season. Since weather in LA does not seem to really get too cold until later in the year (if ever). Typically when people think of Fall clothes, they think big sweaters and boots. This is what I would call a more modern approach to then just an oversized sweater and boots.

Here are some tips on how to transition your wardrobe into fall!

Layers! I wore this outfit that was perfect for layering to wear when it is cooler in the morning and easy to add more layers to it in the evening when it gets colder. I have noticed in LA that mornings and evenings are definitely chillier then the sun heats it up in the afternoon. The green top from Artizia is lightweight enough to be cool in the afternoon but the long sleeves make it warm enough for the mornings. In the evening it would be perfect to add a coat.

Functional bag. I love this bag from Cleobella, it is so cute and functional to carry around a laptop, accessories like a sweater or jacket when it gets colder at night. Having a bag that you can easily take off or add layers to your outfit is super helpful.

Boots :) I love these Chloe boots, they are one of my favorites and I have had them for a couple of years. They go well with dresses, skirts, pants, you name it. I would suggest in investing in some quality boots, some that are taller than a bootie but not as tall as a knee high boots.

Lightweight long pieces. While the weather is unpredictable and temperatures change throughout the day it is best to have pieces that can be worn in hot or cold weather. These Ganni pants are perfect for Fall because they are not too hot during the middle of the day but are warm enough during the evenings. Also, a nice change from just denim.

Here are some layering pieces that I think would be great to add to your Fall Wardrobe.
