I just got back last week from vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, and I was so not ready to leave. I went with my family (an annual tradition) and we stayed at The Cape, a Thompson Hotel, which was every bit as amazing as it sounds online. I spent a lot of time in the negative edge pool and laying on their private beach, but one of my favorite spots to hang was the rooftop bar. At night, they brought out live violinists that played classical covers of top 40 hits, which was such a fun mix of pop culture and elegance. I love any experience even more when there’s something like that to set the mood.
The decor was really modern and minimal (my fav) which is pretty rare to find in a hotel these days, especially in a tropical location, and all the food was amazing.
I also ate at another hotel one night, called Pueblo Bonito Pacifica. The restaurant at the Quivira Golf Club Oasis there had everything delicious and fancy, so it was hard to choose, but I ended up with a great steak dinner and a beautiful view.
I had so many highlights from this trip that it was basically impossible to narrow down the photos…so I put together a mini travel diary from the week. I loved all the fun things I got to wear there too! If you didn’t see my packing list from before I left, you can shop all the looks below.
